About Me

I am currently a student at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies (aka JAMS). I am also seeking a minor in Religious Studies. 

At UW-Milwaukee, I fill many roles. I am a writer for Media Milwaukee, an award-winning news site. I'm also a social media content creator for the Off-Campus Resource Center. 

Along with this, I run a research project called 'Wisconsin Community Activism Now!' and a podcast under Prowl Radio. 

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I frequently travel out-of-state to Georgia, Minnesota and Texas. Encountering the various cultures and stories that exist locally, nationally and internationally motivate me to continue my work.
